I am happy to announce the coming of a USAF Recruiting Monument to honor all Recruiters - past, present and future. Click to view and download full size monument brochure.

The monument will be located and constructed in the Airmen's Heritage Park on Randolph AFB, Texas. This effort is jointly sponsored by the U.S. Air Force Recruiting Service and the U.S. Air Force Recruiting Alumni Association. The Alumni Association will take the lead in coordination with Recruiting Service to raise the funds and complete the Monument at the earliest possible date.

Considerable work has been completed and we are now ready to start fundraising. We have an approved site in Airmen's Heritage Park and we also have an approved design and engineering plan (view engineering plan).

Now comes what may be the hardest part of this effort. We need to raise $150,000 to build our Monument. This may sound like a large amount of money to raise, but I am confident that we can and will do it. I cannot predict how long it may take, but we will succeed in recognizing the importance of Recruiting Services with this monument.

I anticipate fundraising to be two fold. First, we will attempt to raise funds through corporate donations. Second, we will supplement that effort by selling bricks/pavers to be laid in the walk/apron to the monument.

At this time, I would like to announce the start of our brick/paver fundraising project. You can purchase personalized bricks for $75.00 each. Each brick is limited to two (2) lines with no more than 14 characters per line. Letter size is approximately 6/10 inches high. Approximately, 3000-3300 bricks will create the walkway surrounding the monument. These bricks are an important aspect of our fundraising efforts.

Donations and/or Brick/pavers may be purchased by mail with a check or online via Paypal. To pay by check download the order form and send it along with payment to the Alumni Association Treasurer, Stan Staples at: AFRAA, P.O. Box 443, Universal City, TX 78148. When you purchase a brick, you will receive a Numbered Certificate as your proof of purchase. As soon as we can lay the walk/apron, we will engrave and lay your brick.
